Synopsis: Supervillains out of control seek to remake the universe from the cosmos to the streets. The entire pantheon of DC superheroes oppose them, but many are killed as the universe is changed forever.

When the Infinite Crisis miniseries was collected, the writers took the opportunity to change or clarify some dialogue, and the artists got a chance to finish or redo some pages.

The only Challenger-relevant change was to the Battle of Metropolis, where the red-mist background was drawn in detail. Rocky Davis stands in for the Challs, and looks great.

Comments

As noted before, Infinite Crisis left a lot of fans unhappy. Many were unhappy again with the revisions in the hardcover. Which facts are canonical? Which lines of dialogue are "real"? The art improved, but the story muddied the waters.

Oh, well, say some fans. In ten years, during the next crisis, they can undo the DCU all over again.
